Cooking lessons: Baking Slovenian Potica

Learn how to make Potica, typical Slovenian desert, found in almost every home during all major holidays.

Potica comes in different varieties of the filling. Originally the filling is made of walnuts, but also popular fillings are made of hazelnuts, honey, peppermint, cottage cheese, sour cream, cracklings, bacon or dried fruit. First we will prepare the dough and the filling, this will take us approx. 2 hours. We wait for the dough to rise before we put it into a pre-heated oven.

Duration: up to 3 hours
